However, from the beginning of this summer, the situation will change dramatically, since specially created agent companies will start working in Russia, whose task is to sell electronic insurance policies. The idea is not bad, but there is one "but": the car owner will receive an MTPL policy from the insurer that gets him in random order. It is noted that in the event of an insured event, the agent will be obliged to "treat" the client as his own, if it turns out that the area where the insured person lives, there is no representation of the insurance company he needs. If there is such a representative office, then the driver will have to go to the company that will be indicated in his policy.
Let us remind you that for the first time the possibility of obtaining an electronic policy of "autocitizen" appeared last year, but for unknown reasons it is not provided in all corners of the country. However, the situation will change dramatically from the beginning of next year, when all insurers will be obliged to provide car owners with the opportunity to purchase an electronic insurance policy. Now, electronic policies are most popular in the Krasnodar Territory, Rostov and Volgograd Regions, where a shortage of forms was artificially created earlier.
