Although the electric car seems like a curiosity, but gradually it takes its own niche and appears in all corners of the planet. It is convenient to use it as an electric taxi, but the biggest difficulty preventing the widespread use of such a car on the road for systematic transportation is the need for charging, because electricity, unlike gasoline, cannot be filled in a few seconds. There are options for using taxi hybrids that run on gasoline and electricity at the same time, but such a car will not only be more expensive than a conventional one with a gasoline engine, but also will not have any environmental or economic advantages.

The EVA electric taxi, presented at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013 in Japan, should solve the problem. The creators of the car assure that the electric car charges very quickly. 15 minutes of charging is enough to cover a distance of 200 km. This is made possible by the use of a lithium polymer battery pack. Their total total capacity is 63 ampere-hours. A special monitoring system prevents the batteries from overheating during fast charging.

The five-door taxi can accommodate five passengers. If there are small children among them, the front seat folds down and transforms into a child seat. The “smart” air conditioning system takes into account the location of the passenger and directs cooled air into his area. This allows the flow of cooled air to be adjusted depending on how many people are in the vehicle. For a comfortable ride in the heat, a moisture removal system is installed in the passenger seats. And the customers themselves will be able to regulate the operation of air conditioners and multimedia using smartphones. Electrotaxi can reach speeds of up to 11 km / h, and it takes only 10 seconds to develop it. The company did not inform when the electric taxi will be launched into production, and nothing was reported about its cost. But the price will be more than 20 thousand dollars.
