The model will now be offered exclusively with turbocharged engines: two gasoline engines with a volume of 1 (112 hp) and 1.4 liters (140 hp) and a 120-horsepower turbocharged diesel engine with a volume of 1.6 liters.

Recall that before the update in the line of power units there was also a 1.6-liter gasoline aspirated with a capacity of 120 hp, which, according to the representatives of the Japanese brand, will be retained for the Russian market.

Apart from a change in the engine lineup, the car is no longer offered with a continuously variable variator. From now on, buyers will be able to choose between a 5 or 6-level manual transmission, a 6-level "automatic" or a 6-band preselective robotic gearbox. As before, the crossover will be offered in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive versions, and along with technical changes, the car has got an updated exterior. The machine received:

  • new radiator grill;
  • head optics;
  • front and rear bumpers;
  • new rear dimensions.

The innovations have made the car more aggressive, modern and mature.

The interior of the restyled Suzuki SX4 also received some changes. In particular, Japanese designers have slightly revised the architecture of the front console, which has become more laconic and stylish.

Sales of the restyled SX4 will initially begin in the European market, which will happen approximately in the middle of autumn this year, while it is not yet known when the car will reach the Russian market.
